Get Hammered

I started making hammered aluminum bracelets and stamping inspirational phrases on them like “Impossible” means I’m Possible and Be The Rainbow In Someone’s Cloud.

I wanted to expand by making a two dimensional feel, so I started to wrap antique bronze wire at angles across the bracelet and back. I then took chain nose pliers and pinched up the gap making artistic notches.

I really liked the look of depth this created so I also used rose gold and silver wire. I usually make the bracelets in 3/8″ width but got brave and used a 1 1/4″ and liked how it came out also.

My customers immediately touch/pick-up the bracelets which gives me a reason to tell them how they were made.
