I have so many ideas about my resin creations, and this is the one I am working during September.

Roses everywhere!

I created a resin bangle with a bunch of red rose petals, and also a mini rosebud inside.

Quite tricky to obtain the floating effect, but worth it.

And following the good advices on Rena’s website, will have to wear them as a living mannequin! 🙂

  1. The floating effect is gorgeous, Rossella! I love this creative way to capture the flowers and preserve the color. I can see this type of jewelry selling to florist shops, bridal shops, and for occasions like Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, and as an alternative version of the wrist corsage for prom dates.

  2. I would have much preferred this to a wrist corsage. So beautiful and unique. I can see upscale stores carrying these.

  3. I’ve never worked with resin, it looks amazing!

  4. Catherine says:

Rossella, I just ran across this. So beautiful! My Grandpa used to make coffee tables with his polished rocks embedded in resin, as well as wind chimes. I wish he were here now so I could ask how he did it. We still have his coffee tables and chimes. Never thought about jewelry in resin. I still have Grandparents roses from funeral I kept pressed in their bible, that would have been a wonderful way to preserve them. Very beautiful! ?

  5. Catherine, what a beautiful way to preserve your grandparents’ pressed roses!

  6. Thank you Rena for sharing with me such a great idea! Catherine, I strongly recommend you that, you will keep your flowers preserved in a better way for many many years. I’ve learned all the process by myself, you could do the same!
