Exploring New Technique

I’d like to share with you my current creations. Later I became more familiar with wire work.

Woven copper bracelet.

Some time ago I bought a kit for wire weaving. I try to weave, made a piece about 6″ long and 1″ wide from copper wire and put it away, because I didn’t know how to finish it, what to do with the ends of the wire.

I am not soldering, and it became a puzzle for me. About a month ago I was cleaning my working area and found that woven piece.

I took that kit out and start working. First, I fold pieces of wire, put them together and start weaving from that side. On another end I made spirals and wrapped the ends around the beads after finishing weaving.

That became a cuff bracelet. Then I made earrings. I even create a necklace later from very first woven piece.

And it is just a start. Ideas keep coming to my mind!
