Dragonfly Hair Fork

I just loved the way the dragonfly stamping arched around the top of the copper hair fork base I had formed and antiqued. I decided this design would be a minimalistic piece with a few accents. I started out with just the crystal drop, and a few wire wraps to anchor. Then, a few pearls and beads here and there.

Before I knew it, I had covered the dragonfly’s tail with beading. Wow! Not what I had in mind at all, but I was happy I let myself go a bit crazy. This ended up becoming a beautiful hair ornament that would be perfect for a special occasion hair style.
