Copper and Agate Geode Necklace
by Poppy Johal.

For the past few years I have been primarily working with beads and wire. I have always admired the more intricate metal designs of other artists so I have signed up for some metalsmithing classes.
But since my class is not until the end of October I decided to try my hand at making a pendant with cold connections.
This piece is made with 24 gauge copper sheet, copper wire, raw organic agate geode and some brass eyelets.
I tried balling the copper wire ends, some worked some didn’t! So, the ones that didn’t ball I decided to just go ahead and hammer them into a paddle.
I was pleasantly surprised and happy with my first cold connection project!
