My favorite piece so far. A Hematite stone with steel wire wrapping.
I’ve recently started experimenting with stainless steel wire. I missed working with sterling silver but don’t want to increase the prices of my jewelry to justify the cost of silver.

A Viking Knit bracelet with steel and bronze. A tiny bird’s nest dangle at the clasp.

I wanted a white metal look and don’t like aluminum for jewelry.

Although steel is harder than copper, I hope that with practice, I can achieve the fluid wire worked designs I like.
I still love my copper, bronze and sometimes brass, but some stones just call for white metal. Here are some early attempts.
