Sonya: Seeking Canadian Sources for Silver Blanks 1

Can anyone enlighten me about a great source for silver filled or sterling silver metal blanks?
Would love to hear about Canadian sources if known.
Thanks so much!

    Hi, Sonya,

Just off the top of my head, try Bead FX in Toronto, Robert Hall Originals in St. George, the Toronto Bead Society and/or the Grand River Bead Society (in Guelph). Also try Marilyn Gardiner (Waterloo) who sells sterling/copper/etc. jump rings because she may know of someone. I know Beth at Flirt has copper and brass blanks but I don’t have her contact info handy.

I’ve always been kind of a penny pincher so, when I was creating jewelry, I made my own blanks and jump rings. I was always trying something new, challenging myself. When I discovered how much I could save, especially with shipping costs I was inspired!

    Sarber, in Vancouver BC

Thank you for all of these suggestions. They did lead to some great sources. It really does pay to ask! Barbara, your friend Marilyn Gardiner kindly sent me catalogue pages from BeadFX. Lois, Sarber really does have lovely silver blanks too. And yes Millie, I agree, it is always best to do it yourself when possible. I did buy a disc cutter and have experimented with it too. Once again, a big thank you for taking the time and sharing your wisdom!
