Purple and Green Agate Set
by Carey Gray.

I like starting with a focal point, like a unique pendant, then finding a combo of beads to complement it closely.
I do not lay it out beforehand, I prefer to start at the back with simple small beads, then working my way around to the focal, with bigger or more complex ones toward the front.
Then all I have to do is match the other side on the way back up.
If it gets too long for the amount of wire I have, I simply remove some of the simple small beads at the start and make them both match.
Earrings and bracelet to match are quick and simple to do.
I prefer to make both a long pair and a shorter pair of earrings, so that they can buy both sets, or just one depending on their preference.
I do not go buy beads specifically to match the focal, I just use what I have in stock, which is more convenient and faster for me.
I have so many beads that have been given to me or that I have obtained in some way, that I try to resist buying more!
But sometimes, I just can’t resist. I am hooked on jewelry and loving it!
