Orthoceras Ammonite Fossil Beaded Pendant Necklace

I was given the Ammonite mineral as a gift and wanted to do something really different.

Just the week before I had enrolled in a class that taught how to peyote a bezel around a cabochon, so I decided to try that technique on this cabochon.

It turned out so good I needed something special for the neckwear. A friend was working on peyote with a twist and suggested that would look really well with this cabochon. I agreed.

Then I needed a good bail. My friend and I came up with the brick stitch bail and the whole piece turned out perfect. At least that is my opinion.
