Jewelry Mirrors: Ideas from Retail Store Displays

Tony Kadysewski is back with an interesting comparison of mirrors used in retail-store jewelry displays.

Four jewelry mirrors – clockwise from top left: mirror mounted in a pegboard jewelry display, horizontal slatwall mount, vertical slatwall mount, gooseneck slatwall mirror.

Mirrors play an important role in selling jewelry. Customers often need to try a necklace on, or hold a pair of earrings next to their face to see the effect.

Awesome Mirrors

Awesome! Also consider embellishing mirrors (found in the craft store on save for $100). I even give some as themed gifts… Got the idea from someone asking to buy one (turned into 6 as themed gifts) from me.

mirrors are a must

Almost impossible to sell a product to a woman if she can’t see how it looks on her. Even a cheap handheld mirror is better than nothing, and if you can manage it a bigger mirror is much better – I had a lady beside me who was selling clothing who had a big stand up mirror and many of my customers took my necklaces over to her better mirror to look at themselves in it. Now I want one of those mirrors, just not wanting to transport it so I hope she is at the next sale too 🙂
