Combination of My Loves in Sea Glass

I am probably a little out of my element, posting my jewelry among all the talented artists on this site.

Wrapped sea glass with handpainted embellishment.

I don’t sell my jewelry and make most of it for my own use or to give as gifts, so when I saw this challenge for Jewelry You Made for Yourself, I thought I would enter.

I love decorative painting, finding sea treasures and wire wrapping, so I combined all three for this piece.

This was my first painted sea glass piece, so it is far from perfect but I do get a lot of compliments when I wear it. I usually don’t like to alter the beauty of the natural sea glass but this piece seemed to lend itself to having a little embellishment.

I love this site and Rena your tutorials are the best. Thanks for all the inspiration from everyone that posts on here. I look forward to each and every journal. Thank you!
