I really liked Pantone’s “Tender Shoots” fashion color for Spring 2013 and wanted to create a classic design with it, something pretty that could be worn everyday.
I strung 49-strand antique brass beading wire with 10mm light green glass pearls in groups of 3, then interspersed them with 10mm antiqued brass wavy spacers. For the focal bead I used a lone elongated clear quartz bead from my stash that added an unexpected shape and a bit of light to the design.
The necklace ends are finished in corrugated antiqued brass rounds and Czech glass bicones that culminate in a purchased dimpled toggle clasp. The matching earrings include the same 10mm pearls, spacers and corrugated beads, hung from handmade earwires.
