Unplanned Meandering

Recently I have been doing a lot of work with 14ga red brass wire. It started with a bracelet made of meandering wire. It was not completely planned when I started.

I began with an 24 inch length of wire and started making loops and circles and arches. I had a grand old time just playing with the wire. When I was near the end of the wire I made a hook and loop clasp.

Scraps Again

I had recently rediscovered some ruby zoisite beads left over from a necklace I ‘d made years ago and decided to use them in the bracelet. There were several shapes that fit very nicely into the spaces.

The second bracelet is made from a scrap cut off the end of a piece I was making for a necklace. I curved the wire section so it would fit comfortable on the wrist then used blue haze agate beads to embellish it.

The chain is another scrap left over from making a necklace. This bracelet got to be a world traveler. It got to go to South Africa with a friend going to a convention.
