I wanted to share an idea of how labradorite works wonderfully with matching pearls. This is such an unusual combination that I never would dream of, but I first thought of using blue fire labradorite with matching iridescent peacock pearls.

The handcrafted jewelry pieces sold immediately and for a high price. I had no idea this unusual combination would work but I took my chances and I am showing you the results so that you can see firsthand how labradorite pendants can come alive with matching pearls.

The idea came from the concept of iridescence, or in this case “labradorescence”, the flash that appears in labradorite’s play on light, and then when I saw the same iridescence in the pearls I had in stock, I put one and one together.

As you can see from the photos, the combination seemed to work well. I hope this tip will help you create beautiful pieces.
