A Study of Vessels
by Delia Stone.
(Pensacola, FL)
This exploration into vessels has long been on my ‘to do’ list.
You know, that list of intended projects you plan to get around to doing one day? We all have a list like that. 🙂
This desire to work with vessels was suddenly bumped up from the ‘to do’ list to the ‘MUST do’ list after a visit to Mary Tucker’s blog.
She has also been bitten with the vessel bug and after viewing her inspirational work I found myself obsessed with the idea of completing my first vessel.
Here is my result.

Copper coiled vessel
by: Rena
It looks like it was created to hold a tiny magical treasure. Lovely design of the wraps going up the sides of the coils.
Very Creative

I love this, what a great idea. This reminds me of an old wicker basket with a closeable lid, so that you can hide those tiny little treasures. This would also look great on a chain as a pendant.
Love it!

I’m always drawn to boxes and vessels at art shows, and I love the size and detail of this little vessel.
Vessels

So very cool!!! Totally unique, too. I’ve never seen a wire wrapped vessel. I love containers in all shapes, sizes, colors & materials even when I don’t have anything to store in them. But to be able to wear one makes it twice the fun!
