Front of the Kaleidoscope Pendant

When making a one of a kind piece of jewelry, I usually let the stone dictate the direction of the design.

I love procuring uniquely shaped stones from talented lapidary artists.

For this particular piece, I kept the front simple to allow the stone to be the focal point.

For an interesting twist and a bit of a surprise, I traced the shapes within the stone to create the pattern for the etching on the back.

This beautiful kaleidoscope jasper is set on a sterling silver etched backplate and framed with sterling silver 14 gauge wire.

Measuring 2.5″ high x 1.5″ wide, it is quite a statement piece.
