Willow Creek Square Cut Jasper Embroidered Bracelet

by Paula.

I purchased this gorgeous square cut jasper, and instead of pulling out the green tones, decided to pick up on the rusty/bronze striations within the stone. The seed bead shapes are all sewn on, and the center stone is set off by 4 small fresh water pearls at the corners. I had a wonderful time making this bracelet! I love the beadwork and was thinking if you replace the stone this would make a wonderful watch too.

Oh my this is beautiful!
I love the colors you chose. Your artwork shows your skill so wonderfully. I have just begun to work in bead embroidery and I know how much work goes into a piece like this. Thank you for sharing this gorgeous bracelet.

Thank you, ladies, so much! I call this piece “Timeless” because it does look like a watch, with a gorgeous Willow Creek jasper instead. I appreciate your comments!

Diana, congratulations, it’s a great project! For me, swirly lines are easier than straight ones! Keep practicing, and you can always pull back a bit, if you don’t like where it’s going. I was planning to enhance the green a little with seed beads, and there are some greenish ones in there, but I wanted to pull the rusty-bronzy tones from the striations in the stone.
