Sodalite Pendant with Antiqued Copper Wire Frame

I have been procrastinating at attempting to work with Wire Weaving, always finding my efforts not panning out.

On New Year’s Eve, I was traveling alone and so, as I sat at a Starbucks in Abilene, Texas, decided to help fill the night by watching tutorials. I came upon one which looked easy enough for me, the “Elven Gemstone Bead Pendant” from OxanaCraft’s YouTube channel. It stoked my coals of desire, and the next day the embers were still smouldering, so off I went, and this is the completed piece.

I got lost after weaving the sides and forgot how she had made the finishing work come together, so was on my own, but I am happy with the results!
