Labradorite Nugget Bracelet – Weirdly Wired Designs
I’ve had this strand of Labradorite for awhile, and although each stone has beautiful flash, they were irregular in shape, and not the highest of quality.
Instead of just letting them take up space, I decided to play off of their rustic charm, and include nothing else in the bracelet, except for a hand made toggle that has more Labradorite.
This is actually the second bracelet – the first one sold the first time I took it out to show it!

Breathtaking

Angie, I love this bracelet! I’m not surprised the first one was snatched up so quickly.
I love how you’ve let the stones simply be the star of this piece.
The labradorite clasp is just the right touch.
Also – great job capturing the blue flash of the stones in your photo! I find that labradorite is sometimes very shy about showing its color for photos, but you’ve gotten an excellent shot of the color flash here.
Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful piece here!

Oh, I love this. I’d snap it right up, too. Your handmade clasp is exquisite!

Thank you so much for the kind words Ladies – I do appreciate them!
Moonstone and Labradorite can both be very fickle about showing their flash, but this bracelet was full of cooperation!
Thanks again!

I agree, the clasp is perfect. I always admire those who use their talant to come up with something original. Good Job!

Hi Tricia & Millie,
Thank you for your feedback! When possible, I prefer to keep all elements of a piece handmade, and not use fabricated findings.
Thanks again!

How DID you make that clasp?
by: Mara Nesbitt
I love the bracelet and know all too well about how shy labradorite can be in front of a camera lens. I’m very curious as to how you made the toggle clasp; would you be willing to give some instruction on this? You could post it here or send it to me directly at

Thank you!

Hi Mara,
Sorry for the delay in the response. I’m actually gearing up to do a few tutorials and was thinking of starting with this one.
I will let you when it is ready and send you an email!

Hi Angie,
Have you made any progress on the labradorite clasp tutorial? I just got some nuggets and would love to learn how to make such a lovely clasp to bring it all together. Thanks!
