Yellow Quartzite: “Good Yellows are Hard to Find”

I rarely throw away any rejected pieces of failed jewelry projects. I created this bracelet from several sections of wire from my ‘rejects” stash. The loopy section of hammered brass had been stored away for almost a year and the outer copper wire for about a month.
I hadn’t made a bracelet in a while when I rediscovered these pieces. Just recently I purchased these yummy, egg yolk yellow, quartz beads – good yellows are hard to find.
The design is something of a repeat for me with a new twist on the clasp. I like the way it turned out.
