Wake Up! Pendant

I created this piece as a comment on women’s tendency to sleep through most of their lives. We rarely assert our own identities and in doing so can be taken over by all the demands on our lives.
What we become is not always what we set out for.
The title is the message: Wake up! This is definitely a haunting idea.
For the vintage side, I used old Indian silver charms that give you the advice to escape that fate: Be Here Now. The polymer clay is also aged to resemble leather.
