After a gentle clean and a coat of wax

I cleaned up a scrap piece of copper pipe. Then followed the instructions for the vinegar and salt patina. I left the cuff bracelet for around 24 hours, but I think it could have done with another 24 to get a really solid covering.

I dried it and then gently removed the really loose patina with a soft paintbrush. Then gently applied some soft car wax.  After a couple of layers I could be a bit more vigorous, and have managed to get a reasonable shine to it now!
