Unique Metal and Wire Copper Heart Ring

Hello guys, and thank you Rena for this great website! I have had numerous inspirations just from reading articles here!!

One of those inspirations being this copper heart ring. I made it after reading Rena’s rustic ring tutorial.

I never was able to follow any tutorial exactly, I always think of my own little additions and tweaks to add. Of course, it was the same with this ring tutorial. Instead of a bead I did a wire heart and instead of copper wire I used stainless steel wire, making it a mixed metal ring.

I also hammered it using a bumpy rusty hammer, which gave it a nice texture. I tried to oxidize it using an egg but it all rubbed off but that was my fault because I didn’t seal it with anything.

And the timing was perfect, right before Valentine’s Day!
