Tree of Life Pendant for Daughter’s Birthday

Close up pendant
I tend to make very casual jewellery, which is what I like to wear myself.
I have been resistant to try making a Tree of Life pendant for some time, but as my daughter’s birthday is coming up I decided to bite the bullet and do some research.
With much success learning a multitude of techniques on Utube, I turned to my iPad to watch some videos of different styles of making this pendant.
I chose several techniques to style my attempt after, and after several hours I created this nice necklace worthy of giving as a gift.

Pendant and chain
I put it on a long silverplate chain with adjustable closure.
I used a combination of ocean color themed Swarovski, moonstone and semi precious gemstone, 4 to 6 mm beads.
The wire I used was a combination of 18 and 24 g silver anti tarnish artistic wire.
I like to make my necklaces very long, as I like the look mixed with other lengths of chain or necklace.
Now I just need to wrap it up and ship it off to the UK for my daughter’s birthday.
