A long view of the Viking Knit and Pendant.
Recently I had a wonderful opportunity to purchase a large amount of Fine Silver wire for a deep, deep discount.
As an experiment I decided to make a Viking Knit necklace from some of the 24 gauge wire.
A mid point view of the whole.
The pendant came from a design by Sarah Thompson. It was made with Sterling Silver and Fine Silver and of course crystals!

It took me about 25 hours to make the necklace and 2 hours for the pendant.
The Viking Knit portion is 28 inches long, the pendant is about 1 and a half inches long.
