Deep Red Raw Ruby Gemstone from Spain

I have taken a teardrop raw ruby gemstone that I got from Spain and wire wrapped it in silver and champagne over copper core colored wire.

I also used two different shapes of wire for texture, round and square.

Wire Wrapped Teardrop Raw Ruby

This is a fairly small stone, only 20x12x9mm, but it’s quite heavy, 25.18 cts.

Quite a punch for such a petite, gorgeous, deep red ruby gemstone.

I 💖 this stone, it made for a beautiful piece to work with.

I paired this with a lovely 18 inch silver link chain.
