Polymer Clay as “Leather”

My name is Becky, I am a polymer clay addict!
Ok, with that out of the way. This set is polymer clay. I used a leather mat to give it a leather texture.
Next I used a dog comb, yes a dog comb ( I don’t even have dogs, just cats ) to set the holes, baked it, rub on and wipe off burnt umber paint until I created the look I wanted.
Any item is fair game for clay textures!
