Opal / Rock Pendant

I bought a piece of opal in a rock base, sold as a display piece, from a local gem and mineral show.

I got my husband to slice a piece off one edge and roughly shape and polish.

I then wire wrapped to form a pendant.

In the right light there are flashes of red and green in the opal.
