Back of mom necklace

About a week ago by Fire Agate and Jade necklace sold to a lady in Texas. She emailed me telling me how delighted she was with it and that her mother, who had recently broken her hip, loved it as well.

The daughter's necklace

She asked if I still had any of the jade beads left and whether I would be willing to make another necklace using them.

Of course, I said yes, I’d love to make a necklace for her mother and that I did have some jade beads left. Her mother is very petite and my customer wanted a slightly smaller, hopefully similar necklace.

As it turned out, I didn’t have enough jade beads to make a complete chain and scrambled for a solution. I remembered that I had made a bracelet some time ago that was still sitting in my shop.

The sacraficial bracelet

I took it apart, added a few carnelian beads to break up the pattern, found an Orange cab in my stash and made another necklace. She loved the photos I emailed her and bought it right away so bring it to her mom at the hospital.
