Five Minute Earrings
by Lynda Carson.

These were literally five minutes to make. I cut one piece of wire about 3 inches. Made a simple loop on one end. Strung on the beads. Another simple loop to finish the end. Attached both to a jump ring and added the ear wire. Repeat.
They were easily formed into the elongated loop or the round shape. I like the versatility of the sizes and shapes on these by varying the length of the wire. I’m sharing this with the jewelry group at the library tomorrow morning.

Wonderful earrings and I too like the variety of shapes. Probably the longer ones as my favorite because I enjoy dangles.
Thank you so Much!!

OMG!! This was a jewelry party saver for me! I have been struggling to make hoop earrings because I was using beading string and not wire. The earrings of course, would not hold their round shape at all and so many of my customers want large hoops! Thank you for such an easy and simple design idea.
More Info Needed

Hi! Your earrings are perfect! It was just what I wanted to learn how to make. However, I have a question for you. How thick was the wire that you used?
wire gauge

Sorry I omitted this info in the posting. I used 20 gauge non tarnishing silver plated craft wire. It is sturdy enough to hold the shape of the earrings very well and small enough to take on the tiny seed beads.
Love those
