Multi colour coiled wire yoke necklace

I recently started working with coloured wire. Unfortunately the colour can be removed very easily from the wire so a certain amount of care need to be taken.

As all my coloured wire is a small gauge, I tried weaving with it but most of the colour came off, so instead I thought of coiling it.

Cuff bracelet using coiled wire and turquoise beads

I made my own “coiling gizmo” and got to work coiling. I came up with a yoke style necklace and a cuff bracelet.

After wrapping the coils around the base, I hammer it lightly to flatten it and work harden.
