Wire Calligraphy Necklace by Beth Bernard - featured on Jewelry Making Journal

I made this necklace from a design in “The Fine Art of Wire Weaving”. The wire is copper with aqua crystal and tiger eye accents, and was antiqued in liver of sulfur.

I made this necklace to donate to a fundraiser in my community for a young girl with epilepsy so severe that she can’t even take a bath alone.

The fundraiser is to raise money for a service dog. The service dogs can detect the onset of a seizure and will even get between the ground and their person if they fall. They will also lay on top of the person during a seizure so that the person doesn’t hurt themself. But they cost over $10,000. Definitely a worthy cause!
