Bead Soup pendant

Lori Anderson had another of her famous Bead Soup exchanges/challenges this Spring.

The theme was to give a hoarded bead(s) to an assigned partner.

This was the 9th, and my 4th time joining the fun.

I made several pieces.

Her son chose my pendant as one of his favorite pieces; I was so honored to take part and be a winner (with at least 150 other gifted people involved in the exchange).

I used the large lamp work bead gifted to me and some amethyst beads in this piece, plus lots of copper wire, and Swarovski crystals.

  1. Congratulations on your win, Joyce! Great use of the beads, and I like the interestingly intricate wirework pulling them all together. I also like the color contrast between the copper wire and the beads’ blues, purples, and greens.

  2. Congratulations. Beautiful work. Love the pendant.
