This piece is from my first attempts at using precious metal clay. I wanted to “sculpt” a ring using Art clay silver and set a gem stone at the same time. It was ambitious and one of my first projects but I learned the medium is so forgiving that I fell in love and am making a career from Art Clay.

If you haven’t tried this type of jewelry making, you owe it to yourself to experiment. Be prepared to fall in love.
