Cold Mountain Necklace by Joshlyn d Greever - featured on Jewelry Making Journal

This piece was created from newly purchased along with reincarnated materials.

I love blending shiny new items with substance from another time.

The flaws and imperfections add character to create a new story.

I have a thing for stories, items and people of character.

I want my designs to speak that.

The pieces I’m most pleased with are generally created by blending past and current materials.

  • Blending the old with the new is an appealing way to use materials from the past to tell a new story. A lovely necklace with character, Joshlyn! 🙂

    Hi Joshlyn,
I like the necklace a lot. What did you use for the tassel? Very cool.

  • Kathy Zee says:

Joshlyn, such a cute necklace. I love the way you added the tie with beads and chain on the tassel. Since blue is my favorite color I love the colors you used. It is always interesting to use different beads of the same color combo with silver. Good job. Do you have a website?
