New Born Butterfly

I am a wire wrapper and beader. I have made a wire wrapped bangle bracelet for years with the same clasp. This past week, while making one of these bangles, I made my clasp too large so I thought I might roll the edges down.

In doing that, the clasp looked like a butterfly. I love butterflies so I was inspired to make myself this ring. The bead is a gemstone that I had picked out of a focal bead box. Swap years ago.

The butterflies on top encase the stone and there are two additional butterflies on smaller gemstones on the side.
