Wubbers and Large Gauge Wires?

I have bought an expensive Lindstrom round nose pliers and I am not satisfied with those.

They seem fairly strong but the round nose appears to have a crescent dip in it which I hate. I also have a couple of pair of very cheap ones and seem to gravitate to those.

Is Wubbers the only round nose that is strong enough to handle 14 guage wire and keep a nice round?
