Winter Frost

I fell in love with this large Hill Tribe Poinsettia. I have wanted to do a monochromatic piece in silver for some time now but the materials are so costly.
My husband talked me into it, telling me it was time to take my work to the next level. Every time I level up I get a little frightened!
Instead of seed beads I used 2mm and 4mm sterling then added some lovely silver freshwater button pearls for a touch of contrast while staying in the same color family.

Gorgeous next level!

Breathtaking – the entire piece reminds me of a flower and vine captured by a sudden frost. Really stunning monochromatic work.
Good for your hubby, encouraging you to go for it!
And kudos to you for leveling up so beautifully. I know the fear of trying the next level – but you certainly have the talent and grace to emerge into it victoriously!
Thank you for sharing this stunning piece, and the story behind it.
