What’s the Best Way to Clear Out Old Stock?

First I would like to thank all of you again for the great advice on my previous post about dealing with theft! You had some great ideas and I’m happy to report that nothing else was stolen from my booth at the last few shows I did!

Now I have another question for you, do any of you have any experience selling wholesale lots of your jewelry through Ebay? I have lots of jewelry that I need to clear out of my stockpile to make room for my Spring 2014 line.

I’m curious to know how deep of a discount off of retail do you offer, and how many pieces per listing? I’m unsure if I should lump it all together in one large listing or break it up into smaller lots of maybe 5 items each.

Also if you have other ways of dealing with old back stock. I’ve done some giveaways, and it has worked to get more people to my Facebook page but that hasn’t translated into any more sales on my Etsy store.

I’ve also seen people do “flash sales” on Instagram or Facebook but I’m not sure if I have enough followers for that. I appreciate your feedback on this matter!
