Utrillo Bracelet

This bracelet design was a response to a monthly challenge from Art Bead Scene.

The inspiration was a painting by the French impressionist, Maurice Utrillo…titled Italian’s House at Monmarte.

The main lamp work beads are by Jo Reed. I added some carved stone rounds, glass beads, and carnelian into the mix.

I absolutely fell in love to the color palette in this painting. Love the challenge of ‘seeing’ what jewelry is lurking inside of other art mediums…is it in the mood, subject, colors, lines, location, textures??
