The inspiration for this piece came from the movie “Titanic” and the blue sapphire “Heart of the Ocean” worn by Rose (Kate Winslet).

Start of the Lakes Necklace

Turquoise is one of my favorite colors and I love designing with antique brass. The colors in the lampwork accent beads were a perfect match for the pendant. Living near the Great Lakes and the “star” that appears in the pendant when the light hits it just right further inspired the name, “Star of the Lakes”
