Simply Pretty Glass & Wire

I’ve always been a big fan of basic jewelry making techniques.
Projects that require lots of loops, bending and twisting without being too complicated are right up my alley.

Just a quick snapshot from my bead mat.

Just a quick snapshot from my bead mat.

When my daughter asked for jewelry to match her green Converse sneakers for school pictures she picked these two-toned green fire polished beads from my stash.

She’s 14 and petite, so even though she likes earrings that are obvious and dangley, three beads on a headpin are usually enough to make her happy.

She has metal allergies but luckily, colored copper doesn’t bother her so that’s what I used here with some other inexpensive glass beads as well.
