Simple Chainmaille to Use Up Mistake Silver
by Pat Barden.

simple bracelet
Now is probably the worst time for the sterling silver chainmaille– price wise–but I’ve taught myself a simple few things to use up some mistakes.
I bought 600 jump-rings from a different company than i usually do–same gauge, same size–but they are soft–so I used them in threes for a cool bracelet with nice sterling silver twisted links.
Then I found a simple pattern online for earrings with seedbeads, but rather than seedbeads I used these Thai silver spacers I bought which are bigger than what I like for my usual designs-.

Harden those jump rings
by: Patricia
You can harden (and incidentally add a higher polish and knock off any rough edges) by tumbling the soft rings in a rock tumbler with steel shot. Not economical unless you already have one but a lovely tool.
Great Idea

Love want you did Pat, I have a lot of rings that I put to the side that maybe did not close correctly or when trying to close I did something to cause the off shape. So thanks for the idea.
