Selling Jewelry to Friends vs. Giving Jewelry to Friends

First of all, thank you so much for all the tips and helpful resources!

Like many of you, my friends buy quite a bit of my jewelry.
Also, I have gifted special pieces to a few of my friends who have really helped me along the way.

Recently a friend asked me to make them a piece of jewelry like the one I had gifted to one of the friends we have in common.

I feel awkward setting a price for her piece since she probably knows that the piece I gave to our friend was a gift.

I’d like to hear how others have handled this type of situation.
