Seasons of the Tree of Life

Over the past couple of years I’ve been making Tree of Life pendants using gem stone chips.

The seasons have been either spring or autumn with circle or oval frames.

Recently I decided to make a Tree of Life sun catcher.

Since I had made spring or autumn in the pendants I decided to make the sun catcher a winter tree.

I wanted to capture the look of a tree covered with ice and snow so I used crystal quartz chips.

The tree reminds me of winter in the Ozarks of southern Missouri where I grew up.

  1. Love the idea of the seasons. Beautiful.

  2. A lovely series of seasons, Nancy! And what a terrific idea to create winter trees – the beads look just like snow and ice. Reminds me of how magical trees can be after a light ice storm or frozen fog.

  5. Nancy….your tree of life pendants are fabulous! I’ve made a few too and for me they were time consuming and a little difficult but a couple turned out nice. Keep up the good work. Have you tried putting a moon in any yet? There are good videos on how to do it. Love your work!

  6. Beautiful work! Love how you put them together!
