Seasons of the Tree of Life

Over the past couple of years I’ve been making Tree of Life pendants using gem stone chips.

The seasons have been either spring or autumn with circle or oval frames.

Recently I decided to make a Tree of Life sun catcher.

Since I had made spring or autumn in the pendants I decided to make the sun catcher a winter tree.

I wanted to capture the look of a tree covered with ice and snow so I used crystal quartz chips.

The tree reminds me of winter in the Ozarks of southern Missouri where I grew up.
