Sari Fringe Earrings

After taking a break from using sari silk ribbon in my jewelry, I brought out the remaining 40 yards of it today. Yes, it came in a hank of about 60 yards. Still struck by the rich gorgeous colors and wanted to show them off in some earrings.

I started with two heat patinated copper washers and wired wrapped lengths of copper chain with carnelian dangles. Finished with handmade copper ear wires. A very long and very bold statement for the ears.
