Rustic Copper Earrings
by Zoraida.

Being resourceful (or cheap), I dislike wastefulness and often save scraps of leftover wire or metal sheet from my jewelry projects. These always seem to have potential as elements of some future creation.
Sometimes these leftovers just become future messes to clean up,especially those kinked up old bits of wire. But then again, I sometimes twist that kinked up old wire to make some small rosettes or spirals. Still, my jewelry supply stash can resemble a miniature junk yard.
These earrings were made out of small sections of copper sheet from bracelets I had made. I threw in some copper washers and bits of brass colored, copper wire for the spirals. I felt relieved to have cleaned up a few leftovers.

Although I am not sure which is my favorite. Great way to use up the scraps without waste of product.

These are so cool! I love the rustic look to them – yet they are polished all at the same time – lovely work!!

Thank you Leigh, Irene, Lynda and Michelle for your great comments.
I just dislike wastefullness and am always looking for ways to reuse discarded material.
I even save Chinese food containers for my beads!
