I started a collection of jewelry made from aluminum wire. I design the pattern as I work deciding on which shaping appeals most to me.
I then choose what stones I think work best with the piece. I put them on a suede or leather string although they can be worn on any necklace one likes with them.
This piece is accessorized with olive green patterned ceramic beads and copper circles. Each piece is one of a kind and made by my hands.
My hair stylist, who is also an artist, gave me some of this wire and said “See what you can do with it.”
As it is said, “the rest is history.”
