One Necklace Design; Three Statement Pieces

The third necklace for the tutorial

I usually create one-of-a-kind pieces but I made this necklace in order to create a tutorial for a necklace I had already sold. In fact, I ended up make three necklaces!

The second necklace sent to the magazine

The first one was already sold when I received an email from Wirework Magazine saying they would like to feature it in the Spring 2013 issue. The second one is the one I offered them as a substitute and the third is the one I made in order to write the tutorial with step by step photos.

The original sold necklace

I think I’m done with this design.

  1. It’s hard to believe that just changing the beads can make each necklace look completely different. They’re all absolutely gorgeous!

  2. Congratulations! It’s a beautiful design.

  3. Congrats Zoraida! How exciting to be published in Wirework Magazine! I’m just starting my journey into this wonderful art and have been working with wire now for close to 3 years. I admire your work so much and you’re such an inspiration to me and I’m sure to so many others. What an accompishment! I’m so happy for you! I cant wait to see the spring issue!

  4. Congratualtions on being featured in Wirework. Your designs are stunning and an inspiration.

  5. Really lovely. My fave is the middle photo. I love those colors and the whole piece has an elegance and serenity to the design. Congrats!

  6. Thanks everyone for the great comments! It is interesting to see the 3 necklaces together. I’ve never made the same design this many times. Creating a “formula” and repeating it (with variations) was actually fun. I think I’ll do it again!

  7. Gorgeous!!!
